What I brought back from Singapore to the States
I brought a good mixture of things from Singapore back to California for my Singaporean friends and American friends. There’s a plethora of amazing things you can find in Singapore but you would have trouble finding back in the states.
Here’s a detailed list of what I ended up bringing back:
- Irvins Salted Egg Noodles – it’s harder to find in America so I brought these back
- Yakun kaya jam – kaya is like a spread of egg and coconut, usually made eggs, sugar, coconut milk and pandan leaves
- beautiful magnets – I went to SG Chinatown to find these
- TWG teas – grand wedding tea is my favorite
- AGAK AGAK book by Shu Han Lee (Singaporean cooking book)
- Prima Taste Singaporean la mian laksa noodles
- Taho blachan chili
- Taho lemon chili
- lemongrass green tea

Call me crazy, but I also bought Stand Oil korean bags on Lazada and sent them to my hotel since they were cheaper than buying from the US. My friend helped me order them and I was able to bring them back to the states as well. These are the ones I ended up getting below:

Don Don Donki Products (huge Japanese store in Singapore that I love)
I went a little overboard when I went to this store, and brought back a ton of things! I know it’s not Singaporean products, but these Japanese products were still cheaper if I buy in Singapore. You can also get a majority of these on Amazon too.
- Imju Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner Job’s Tears Lotion 500ml
- Ishizawa Keana Nadeshiko Rice Mask (10 pieces)
- Fino hair lab moisturizing oil
- Fino premium hair mask
- Tamagotchi for my nephew
- Kit Kat milk teas

Popular Irvins Salted Egg Spicy Salmon Skin Crisps
Irvins originated from a seafood restaurant and transformed salted egg dishes into addictive snacks. They created this explosive, garlicky spicy version of the salted egg salmon skin!

Kopiko Instant Coffee
Kopiko, the popular coffee-flavored candy, originates from Indonesia and is produced by the food and beverage company Mayora Indah. It’s a great 3 in 1 mix for coffee, sugar, and creamer. I love this as it’s convenient to make coffee.
