If you’re looking for Pokemon cards in Paris, France, don’t worry—you’ll be able to find them! I originally found this cute store via TikTok while I was helping my fiance hunt down some options for when we flew to France.
The store we went to is called Fuji Store. It’s located at 6 Rue Rampon, 75011 Paris, France and has a really impressive wide variety of Pokemon cards, Dragon Ball, Gundam, and Disney cards. The vast majority were Pokemon cards, which some having high PSA grades and some costing up to 5,000 Euros. Booster cards, special set, promo cards, etc you name it. All of them are safely behind glass cases, and organised by elemental or by genre. They also have an online store, but due to tariffs, all US shipments are subject to a 15% tariff. Thanks Mr. President Trump.
Most of the cards are either in French or in Chinese. It was kind of cool to see that they wanted cards in French, whereas the norm mostly wants it in English. My fiance ended up getting a couple Indonesian ones, where Pikachu was wearing its traditional garb, batik. He also got some OG pokemon cards in French that were nostalgic to him. It’s pretty cool to see the hype and enthusiasm here as well. In the store, there were at least 4 other patrons looking at cards in the glass walls.

I would try to go on a weekday if possible, as the lines do get long towards closing time and on the weekends as everyone is looking at the cards. The store person was very busy, and helpful when we asked questions.
It’s kind of insane how popular Pokemon has become, with the hype shooting up in the current conditions. I speculate it’s a bubble, with a lot of people trying to make a quick buck as the economy isn’t doing too well. A lot of scalpers are buying up products like crazy at MSRP, not leaving enough for the ones who are actually into these cards.
But anyways, it was at this store where I felt like people actually cared about Pokemon cards, its heritage, and the funness of trading cards. People took their time selecting their favorite ones, they gushed about the upcoming card releases, etc. It felt nostalgic to be in there, but also very hot as it was summer and everyone was inside the store.

Anyways, it was quite cute to see my fiance get excited about all the cards he was looking at, so like a good partner, I let him peruse the store as long as he wanted. I know he waits for me a lot while I shop too, so I’ll give him his time.

Not to be a total narc, but for all the partners out there who has someone obsessed with Pokemon cards, let them have their fun, but within parameters. Someone we know had almost 20,000 worth of Magic cards, and it all got stolen. I know there’s a risk to everything, but I would never consider Pokemon an investment, just a consumer good.
The costs of these cards can go up quite quickly, and I hate to be this person, but it is at its core..gambling. You’re opening up packs, which give a chance of finding a rare card and giving you that insatiable shot of dopamine. Also, it’s all speculation right now, but Pokemon cards aren’t governed, unlike ETFs who are FDIC insured.
Okay no more narc-ing, but the store itself is quite impressive, even to me (someone who doesn’t collect cards). I overall liked the vibe of the shop, and felt like it was an actual shop that shared the love for Pokemon, rather than exploit it.
